PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government will unveil its Rs700 billion budget for the fiscal year 2019-20 on June 18.
According to sources in the provincial finance division, the government has set aside Rs200 billion for development projects in the next fiscal year.
The provincial government has set an annual revenue target of Rs55 billion in the next fiscal year, which is up from Rs45 billion during the outgoing fiscal year.
The net income of the province has been estimated at Rs650 billion for the next fiscal year.
The government has projected expenditures for tribal districts at Rs65 billion. The provincial government has proposed to set aside Rs36 billion for development program in the tribal region.
